You have the lead pair of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif gracing the glory of the Cuban capital Havana; only earlier on in the movie, the pair were very much in Dublin, Ireland where a very elaborate and visually vibrant dream song and dance ‘Banjaara’ is featured.
If you are taken aback a little with two popular songs being featured first in this review; don’t be - for you will have to soak in all the music, song and its dance sequences as much as possible for you are in for a serious story!
There is of course all the action, a string of fights and chases to usher in this movie, as you would have expected from a Salman Khan starrer.
Back in New Delhi after a mission and with a code name ‘Tiger’ to go with; Tiger (Salman Khan) gets assigned with a relatively simple task of keeping track of a scientist. On the contrary, he runs into Zoya (Katrina Kaif).
Not far from Trinity college and in the prettiness of Dublin, the lead pair finds their share of tender moments...
Polished action creeps up on you ever so often, in this movie where the humour has only a token share and where the story develops with all its seriousness in the form of chases, escapes, blows and even gun-fights...
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif get into their groove effortlessly; they are also supported well by Ranvir Shorey and Girish Karnad.
Zoya doesn’t get left behind with the action although Tiger garners the chunk of the well choreographed action. Some of the action is set alongside a Bosphorus backdrop, with its fabulous looking Istanbul.
Don’t miss ‘Mashallah’, a song with a Middle-Eastern instrumental score, as the movie winds to a close after all its super chases, its slick action and a serious story with enough drama built in.
Definitely off the beaten track for a Salman Khan starrer, the movie set across several fabulous looking cities will keep you absorbed as you keep guessing if the lead pair will live to see the light of another day...
